Well it’s been quite some time since our last meeting.
This time round Shi Chuan will talk about Adobe Air and Ed will discuss about what should be in Flash and what shouldn’t.
Want to create desktop apps that run on Mac, Windows, Linux, and even Android? Shi Chuan will lead a talk about the use of Adobe Air, and show how Air can interact with the file system of the computer. Showing a live example of his HTML5Boilerplate Air Application.
Have you come across sites that makes you think “Does this site really need to be in flash?” or “This site would be so much cooler with flash”. Making the decision about the direction of how a site will be constructed can be troublesome at times. Should you build it in Flash or HTML? Come and join in the discussion with Ed.
Time: 11AM-1PM 23th October
Venue: The Ogilvy Centre, 35 Robinson Road #03-01
Topics: Adobe Air, To Flash or not to Flash (that is the question)
