Summary of December’s meet up

December user group meet up

First of all, thanks for everyone who came down for the gathering!

The meeting was quite successful. The main purpose of getting people to talk to each other was very well achieved. Ed’s presentation on SWFAddress was well received. We also went through some of the recent works done by Singaporean companies and the session ends with a long chit chatting.

During the meet up, we announced the general direction of A-SFUG, “to stimulate communications between designers and developers“. The user group targets both designers and developers. It’s a group set to improve the designer developer work flow, to get designers excited about technology and to get developers passionate about design and usability. Presentations will focus more on concepts other than the technical solutions. We’ll continue to invite well-known designers and developers to share their experience with the group.

Update: Here’s the presentation slides for SWFAddress.

Filtered Adobe feeds

It’s getting harder and harder to follow Adobe feeds. There are too many posts to read and there are too many unrelated posts. Here’s a blog that posts selected feeds. Every pick is really useful and interesting.
